my xams r running...i hav given 4 of them n 4 r remainin...its like half burden over
i m really counting my days when these xams will gt over...its gonna b a hectic life now...xams gettin over on 24th, home function on 25th, gt 2 shift frm hostel n run 2 gurgaon n joinin 4 my frst job on 1st june...searchin 4 PG's n settlin thr n then continue workin 4 five days in a week...really gonna b hectic

FAREWELL PARTY!!!!!

This Sat evening we got our farewell party to recall us tat our time in the institute is abt 2 over....2 bcm nostalgic abt our 2 yrs of stay at AIM....2 reminiscise the sweet n sour memories during the hostel life.
the theme of the party was 2 get dressup as a PROTAGONIST. i was completely out of mind 2 decide 4 myself...one of my freind gave me the suggestion 2 bcm Anjali of Kuch Kuch hota Hai wherin nt much effort has to b put in...finally i decided 2 follow it n had a sporty look complimented by a basketball.

Myself as Anjali (Kajol) and Ashoka the Great (Santosh Jena)

All my batchmates became sm protagonists like Akbar, Hitler, Ashok, Alexander, Basanti, Gabber and the list continues...it was fun 2 see such grt ppl. gathering together at a place....i wud hav taken autographs bt its against Kajol's reputation. the party started wit a presentation showing pictures of my batch, title given 2 all of us wit a momento, then followed by dance party. i cud hardly dance coz it gt very late n i had an headache by the time it actually started. cud nt enjoy much!!

countdown has begun 4 me n i m now eagerly waitin 2 c me at home...munchin sm gud "ghar ka khana", gossipin wit my mom n dad, meet sm old frnds, visit sm old places n chillax....2 days left 4 me 2 board the train 2 jaipur n then one whole day of travellin...it really puts me off, i wish i cud fly n reach there bt udne ke liye paise nahi hai yaar:-((
neways will enjoy the leave for 15 days at peace coz i hav confirmed my leave frm tat chimpanzee who never leave a moment 2 frighten us....ishara kafi hai????
gudbye frm my side 2 all bloggers coz i dont think i will post anythin in the mean time....u know how i m!!!

visit 2 botanical garden

i went 2 botanical garden(popularly known as B-Garden)with my friends n had a grt time watching the beauties of nature n takin snaps which i might put later in the blg. its huge spread across acres of land n thr. r trees brought frm various continents...the major attraction was the grt BANYAN TREE which is so massive, almost a forest in itself. it is 240 yrs old n has 2880 roots spread over a large area...its main trunk has been removed bcoz of the fungal infection bt the huge tree is still survivin...it seems to b another wonders of world...must visit once if get a chance 2
then we had frolic time playin wit a balloon n actin like kids...nice outing altogether

today i had 2 giv 2 ppt presentations- one on service marketing n another on strategic mgmt....had worked upon it really hard the previous day n thankfully both the presentations were gud esp. the latter one
it was all team work n i really like 2 work in grp...i was in love wit the strategy mgmt. presn. coz it was on fruit juice n we had put up sm cool photos of fruits n juices all over which were really tempting n fresh.
the images were so cool tat i even decided 2 put one of them as a wallpaper on my comp.
These ideas might stimulate your fruit consumption!
Why should we have five to nine fresh pieces a day, organically grown if possible?
For the largest part fruit consists of water just like the human body does;

its just feb end and kolkata is blazin like sun....the temp. hovers around 35-40 degree celsius
right now i m in net lab, writin this blg n sweatin like pig, coz ACs here hardly make any effect
though in the mrng, i take bath wit lukewarm water...i might b the only person in the hostel who require geyser till now...a little irony on myself. but in the mrng its quite cold n i m prone 2 cold.
by the mid-day, the temp. is so high tat it reminds me of Jaipur
it bcoz of atmospheric pollution tat the weather conditions of many places hav changed...the other day, i was readin in the newspaper tat kolkata have moisture-laden winds which normally keep the temp. normal, bt this time the moisture content is very low n tats why the heat is soaring up similar 2 the condition of deserts
i just hope this summer abates a little n we cud hav sm respite.

me writing a blg is like once in a blue moon...the ones visitin my blg will cm 2 knw n probably they must hav stopped visitin it...my frenzs keep tellin me 2 wite smthin bt i dont know wat 2 write as nthin interestin happenin in my life which i cn share
same old classroom lectures, mess food, etc...
bt ya i had a nice time wit my friends visitin Alipore zoo, Indian museum(it was grt watchin huge collection ranging frm zoology,geography, history, insectology, egyptian collection...esp. mummy 4 which i was so excited abt)
also saw rang de basanti (part of treat 4 my sis's bday) n quite liked it bt was nt satisfied wit the ending...as it is any Aamir khan's movie has 2 b gud(as i believe it coz he is my favourite), although i didnt like his mangal pandey...also it seems tat aamir has started growing old(in rdb)
we hav our annual function on 11th n i m really waitin 4 it coz many of my friends r participatin n all hav practised hard...its gonna b rockin i believe
a little sad coz one of my friend is ill n wish tat she gets well soon bt also disappointed tat she didnt tell me n keep sayin she is fine...kuch to bola kar yaar
tats it 4 today n hope to continue blggin regularly...so all of u who visits my blg, plz. dont go away n keep commenting....take care.... :-))

me gt placed in Genpact...after the long journey of written test, GD n PI, at last i made it...was feelin so tired by the end of the day bt the fatigueness vanished with the announcement of the results

the hardwork put by all behind the inferno turned out 2 b successful
i m really happy 4 the success of the finance club(KUBER) events as i was one of the organiser...we conducted two events- BULLS AND BEARS; FINANCE DOCTOR....all the other B-School participants liked the events esp. finance doctor. both the 1st n 2nd prize were taken away by ICFAI in B&B but in fin. doc. our school backed the 1st prize n shared the 2nd prize with icfai. indiabulls gave on the spot sponsorship 4 the 2nd prize n judge gave his feedback on the case study.will take rest on sunday as worked a lot 4 these events
KUDOS TO ALL THE CLUB MEMBERS FOR THE GRT. EVENT!!!!!!!!!

the grt festival of lights has arrived...wish all a very lightening Diwali
bt the sad incident yesterday has abated the enthusiasm....ppl hav doubts in their mind, taken aback by the incident n will nt b able 2 celebrate Diwali joyfully...high alert put everywhere.
this diwali gonna pass thru grt suspicion...but neways do enjoy it with full zeal n noise.

Bandh or strike is smthin very normal in Kolkata....almost every mnth thr. is either Kolkata bandh or West Bengal bandh...ppl here wants rest frm their busy life. it was very boring as nothing much 2 do...also restricted within hostel coz cud nt go anywhere
our hostel looks deserted during holidays....all classes cancelled n test gt postponed 4 next day
had lot of sleep n just wasted time...forcibly studied 4 smtime 4 the test.

This was an interesting thing which i came to know thru one of the article in Business World magazine.there's a person "Mr. Kennedi" who was asked by his boss to choose between his job or blog....he chosed latter n is really happy with his decision as he has now started earning thru his blogs by consultin in Astrology...he used to work with sify n manage their astro section....also he consults thru various other portals like rediff, yahoo,etc wherein he gets only30-50% of revenue....bt thru his blog www.askenni.com he consults without any intermediaries n earn 100%...also a doctor stared consulting takin a cue frm him, blogging has open up an informal way 2 business besides expressing ur thoughts ...

samosa day

ppl must be thinkin me as a gluttonous person, always talkin abt food
bt 4 a person staying in hostel, those specific days really matter when one gets smthin good 2 eat....rest all days we have 2 struggle havin the food provided in the mess
today in the supper we get samosas tat r really tasty n i m still havin the taste of it. today was a good day meeting our seniors as most of them hav cm 4 the convocation n alumni meet.
tried 2 study quality mgmt. bt end up collecting the materials frm whr 2 study
when this internals cm, i get 2 know tat 50%-70% of the syllabus is complete n nt touched the book...run 2 frnds 4 help n anyhow giv the internals.
this was all 4 today

wow paratha day has reached....bt as usual gt up late at 8.30 in the mrng.n then run 4 queues 2 take bath. bt today no queue 4 paratha probably everybody had their breakfast. today only one class at 4.30 ,so will do tp. happy bday to Naveen if he looks into the post.
